Even if it where possible I would not recommend it based on my experience, your first choice should always be to configure a bypass for server to server communication

Is there any way to do this? I can find out how to specify a proxy in the web.config of the source server, but no way to specify the credentials it should use to authenticate with the proxy so that it can talk to the webservice on the destination..
