Upgrade to 7 or 7.1 first

Hi,

I am currently putting a plan together for upgrading an existing 6 R2 solution to 7.5

I know I need to upgrade to 7 first, and then 7.5.

my question is, does it matter if I upgrade to 7 or 7.1 if my eventual final version is 7.5?

I believe that you can upgrade directly from 7 to 7.5, without having to upgrade to 7.1 first.
