Size of alt text in ImageVault 3.5.7

Hi, we're using ImageVault 3.5.7 with an EPiServer 6 installation, and there's a problem with the size of the alt text. The limit is supposed to be 255 characters, however there's an error shown if we go above 191 characters. Has anyone else seen this? Is there anything we can do about this? Should we perhaps upgrade to a newer version, and if so, which one?

Ok cool, it said on their site to contact EPiServer if you had an ImageVault installation with EPiServer so thought I'd try here first, but I'll email their support now.
