Ignore rewrites to shortcuts related to the LinkCollection property

If a page in a LinkCollection property refers to a page that has a shortcut set (to another page in EPiServer) then the LinkItems href is refereeing to the “shortcutted” page. This is probably by design and is a good idea in a lot of scenarios but not in this specific case. I want the LinkCollection to be a collection of links refereeing to the pages that was inserted into the collection without any rewrites to “shortcutted” pages.
Does anyone know if there is a solution to this? Either by getting the original page when fetching links from the LinkCollection or by ignoring the rewrite somewhere?
