Quotation marks (") in link headings

Our customer reports that since upgrading to 4.51, they get error messages when including quotation marks in the link headings. Also a job that regularly goes through all links crashes when it reaches links that include quotation marks in the link text any ideas?

"The '"' character, hexadecimal value 0x22, cannot be included in a name" I get this error when I have quotation marks in link headings. is this a problem with EPiServer?

Actually it only happens when the heading starts with quotation marks
