Windows login with multiple Active Directories?

Vote:

Hi: We would like to use the Windows Membership- & Role Providers to login users on an intranet. The users are stored in four different Active Directories (sweden, norway, denmark, finland). There is a trust between sweden and all the other countries, but the other countries doesn't have trust between eachother. The web server will be a part of the swedish domain.

Is it possible to use the above providers to enable automatic login for all users?

Thanks! Erik

Hi Erik,

Did you solve this one? I'm also looking into the possibility of letting users of a trusted AD log in.

Could you not enable the global catalog on Sweden and then use this in your connection string ? Also for automatic login you will need to switch off Anonymous authentication via IIS
