Display an info/warning message on edit panel

(I do not program my self so it do not help me)
I wish this was a feature included in the "base kit". Functions that we all seem to need should be solved centrally. I've seen many publishing systems that do not have this feature. Episerver could perhaps be the first one to implement it ;)

How do I display an info message to the editor for a specific page on top of the edit panel. A message like the warning for "mirrored pages" that "fetch data from": "OBS! Speglad sida. Denna sida visar innehåll från en annan sida...."
Is there an easy way to add a message like this?
Do I have to modify UI/Edit/EditPanel.aspx?
