Anchor links and querystring parameters

Hi,
I've got some pages in the form http://myhost/page-1/page2/?myparam=whatever
My question is how do I get anchor links to work on a page like that? On a normal page the editor would insert an anchor link like But if I try to put that into my page when it is clicked the page is reloaded and throws an error because the querystring is empty.
Any ideas on how this can be accomplished?
