creating Purchase order

I need to import order history from external system to episerver commerce. Is there other methods of creating PurchaseOrder except SaveAsPurchaseOrder of Cart class?

No, there's not. Is there any problems with using SaveAsPurchaseOrder to import/create your orders?

I need to import history of about 1000 customers during last year or two. So I hoped not to create cart everytime while creating purchase order.

When you call SaveAsPurchaseOrder then the "original cart" will be "deleted". You can still do the clean - if necessary - after importing orders to EPiServer Commerce. I don't see any problem with this approach - or am I missing something?
