Is there anything similar to "UIMaxVersions" for catalog content, so I can limit the number of versions of catalog content ?

Or would I need to create a scheculed job to remove the old versions ?

Unfortunately at the moment we do not support UIMaxVersions for catalog contents yet. We see this as a feature request and will consider to implement it or not.
