Empty recycle bin

Our customer have a testing envrionment in DXC which turns out to be very slow. When I try to empty the recycle bin with about 60 items, I get an SQL timeout after about 50 seconds:

[SqlException: Execution Timeout Expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.]

Is there any other way to empty the recycle bin than via CMS?
